About me

Western horsemanship with a natural edge.

I help horses and humans better their connection through communication using western horsemanship with a natural edge. I have a vast background in multiple disciplines and accept most breeds and ages in my training program. Riding lessons are given to all ages and skill levels.

Background

Eve Thompson has an incredibly varied equine education, from formal equine studies in college to professional training from top tier athletes (WPRA cowgirls and Million dollar NCHA Earners) as a child and on to training on her own. She has worked hands on training and/or competing in endurance, dressage, colt starting, BLM mustang makeovers, problem horses, western pleasure Barrel racing, college rodeo, cutting, ranch work, cattle management, cow horse training, roping, pole bending, trail, and specialized physical therapy and rehabilitation. Her favorite disciplines to date are cutting and barrel racing. Those are also the two where she has really made a name for herself in the western states competing with her true love of quarter horses. She loves building the bond between horse and rider utilizing the tools of communication we learn through horsemenship education. Now, married and with a son of her own and a husband in the military she strives to provide a good experience and pass along her knowledge to others wanting to learn and connect with horses.
